 First off, a big thank you to all who gave an opinion on the 2nd verse rewrite post from a few weeks ago. I decided to go with the popular vote and have put together two demos of the song. Though they are very similar, there are some slight tempo differences which make for slightly different feels. Version 1 has a little more finger picking and Version 2 is more of a steady strum with a pick. At this point, I'm not sure which one I personally like better which is why I'd love to get your opinion. What do you think? You can listen to the two versions below and then respond by voting directly below the song files. Once we have a winner, I'm guessing we'll give it a few days to a week; then I'll put a little more effort into the recording process with some back up vocals and such and finally be able to give you a free download of Alive for being so cool....and helpful!
